Dr Miles has been a partner at the practice since 1992.

Dr Roberts has been a Partner in the practice since 2017. She works part time.
Dr Darby is a salaried Doctor and joined the practice in March 2018. She works part time.
Sarah is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Partner in the practice. She is also the clinical lead and manager for the Nursing Team.
Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
The Practice Manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The Practice Manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
Reception Manager - Portland Practice. Steve leads the Reception Team at the Portland Practice. The Receptionists arrange appointments, repeat prescriptions and deal with any enquiries. They also perform numerous adminstrative duties to help with the smooth running of the surgery.
Head Receptionist at Hatherley Surgery. Theresa leads the Reception and Administration Team at our Hatherley Surgery. Our Community Nurses, Kath Budenis and her colleagues, provide care for patients who are housebound and require nursing services. Theyh can assess a patient's needs and refer to other agencies if required. They work in partnership with the whole of the health and social team, promoting independence and self care.
A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
