Nurse
Practitioners
Sarah
Gallagher, Marie Altham and Michelle Payne are highly
qualified Nurse Practitioners who see many emergency cases as well as running
most of the Chronic Disease Clinics.
Out-of-Hours
The
local Primary Care Trust has taken over provision of emergency GP services at
evenings and weekends (6.30pm to 8.00am Mondays to Fridays; all day Saturday
and Sunday). The Out-of-hours Primary Care Centre is located at Cheltenham
General Hospital. This is situated next to A&E in Fracture Clinic.
Waiting
Room refurbishment
We
have recently refurbished our waiting rooms at both Hatherley
and Portland Surgeries. We hope you find them more comfortable.
Repeat
Prescriptions
You
are now able to order your Repeat Prescription by e-mail. We do not take
requests by phone.
Target
Afternoons
On certain
days the Practice is closed from 12.30 for staff training. During these times,
emergency cover will be provided by an on call service. This may not involve
doctors from the Practice. You will be given details of this service when you
ring in on the afternoon.
