The Portland Practice
Welcome to the Portland Practice website. We are a large general practice with a catchment area covering most of Cheltenham.
We work between two sites, the main being the Portland practice based in the centre of Cheltenham and a branch surgery located in Hatherley.
Our medical team includes eight doctors, a nurse practitioner, community nurses, health visitors, community midwives and a full practice nursing and healthcare assistant team.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL PATIENTS
As of 8th June 2017 until further notice the way we operate our services at our Hatherley Branch Surgery is changing. Please read the document below for full details.

We have been awarded an overall rating of 'Good'. We were also rated 'Good' in each of the five categories the CQC use to measure performance: Safe, Effective, Caring, Effective, Responsive and Well-led.
